El Dorado Furniture - El Dorado Furniture
Established in 1967 by Manuel Capo, El Dorado Furniture is a leading supplier of furnishings in southern Florida, operating a dozen locations throughout the region.
After immigrating to the United States from Cuba, Manuel started El Dorado Furniture with two of his sons and subsequently brought his family and other children from the island nation. In the more than four decades since the initiation of the flagship El Dorado Furniture store, the company has expanded across Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Now maintaining 12 discrete locations, Manuel Capo’s sons carry on his legacy as El Dorado Furniture’s Board of Directors. In 2010, the American Furniture Hall of Fame inducted Manuel Capo for his ongoing commitment to the industry and El Dorado Furniture.
As a top supplier in the region, El Dorado Furniture carries all of the trusted names, like Parker House, Simmons, Schnadig, and Tempurpedic, as well as exclusive makers, such as Christopher Casablanca and Carlo Perazzi. All of the El Dorado Furniture stores boast extensive showrooms specifically designed to give customers a unique view of the furnishings.
Helpful tools for making purchases, such as a Room Planning tool and professional recommendations, can be found on the company website. Local customers also have the option of meeting an El Dorado Furniture design specialist to discuss ideas for a specific space. El Dorado Furniture ships throughout the world, including same-day service to numerous local areas.
In addition to selling home furnishings, El Dorado Furniture contributes to the community in manifold ways and supports several altruistic causes, including American Heart Association, Inc., The American National Red Cross, and Miami Children’s Hospital. Past projects include providing furniture to 40 families in need, with the assistance of Neighbors 4 Neighbors, and acting as a drop-off location for an Annual Holiday Toy Drive through Amigos for Kids.
